To truly bring the OST to life, we sought singers whose voices could capture both the elegance of the lyrics and the depth of the game’s emotions. Sachi (singer of TMO OST –English ver.), Jean HZ (singer of TMO OST – Thai ver.), and Chilly (singer of TMO OST – Vietnamese ver.) were chosen not only for their talent and extensive singing experience, but also for their ability to convey emotion in a way that resonates with the spirit of The Moonlit Oath. Their vocal tones, versatility, and artistry made them the perfect match to interpret the song’s message across different languages.
Where Lyrics Meet Storytelling
Performed by Sachi, Jean HZ, and Chilly, the song is more than just a soundtrack. It’s a bridge connecting the story of Mingyong Academy to players in their own languages and fulfilling our oath to make every Scholar feel at home in this world.
When rewriting the lyrics, every detail mattered. We paid close attention to cultural nuances, the game’s overarching narrative, and the imagery of destiny, fleeting encounters, and eternal bonds. Each line was carefully localized to preserve the poetry of the original, while letting the song bloom naturally in its new form. The melodies echo the academy’s halls, the bonds formed within it, and the promise to keep walking forward, no matter how tangled the path.
The result is a song that resonates with the heart of the game itself — Bound forever by the Moonlit Oath.
